BB keeps copy of sent emails I write - why?
 

Everytime I send/reply to an email on my BB, I can see that reply message in my emails folder on the BB.

I don't want those reply emails to sit on my BB - it cloggs up space! Is there a way to make sure the emails that I reply to (on my BB) are not sent to my emails folder on the BB BUT are still sent to my sent items in outlook??

I've tried playing with settings and the hide function seems to just hide the sent items not really remove them, right??

Basically, you set up a filter so that you do not have mail FROM yourself, sent "back" to your phone.
