My BB BOlD 9000 IS ALLOWING ME TO GET DATA SERVICE
 

I've Unlock Mt Bold 9000 Last Year Around This Time To Use On My Tmobile Plan After My Contract Was Up With At&t .. Well Now Its Not Allowing Me To Use The Internet Or Any Data Service I've Lost My Phone In The Club And My Cousin Found It So In Ther Process Of Losing It Ive Call To Cut It Off . Well I Found It And Got It Back But Since Ive Got It Back I Haven't Been Able To Facebook,bbm,web Browse, Or Anything . Ive Called Tmobile And They Was No Help I Dont Want To Master Reset My Phone Cause Ive Havent Back It Up Before Ive Lost It So All My Bbm Contact Would Be Gone

First, please don't type in all caps, it comes off as shouting.

It looks like when you reported it lost they deactivated it. When they reactivated it, it looks like they didn't attach the BlackBerry data plan to your account. Call and ask for the BB data plan.

lol i forgot to take off the caps I'm going to call them up asap thanks for the info and hopefully they can fix my problem

It can sometimes take a number of days for it to activate properly depending on your carrier.
On your device do you have 3g or 3G, edge or EDGE?
Also have you tried a battery pull?

so did you post the first question using a different name?

You need a blackberry data plan for the BB to function on most services. Just ask for a Blackberry data plan not a cell data plan. then re-download the service books.

yeah i have to user name when ive first joined the forum Sonicteam120 was my username and then i forgot the passcode and had problem logging into it so i made Sonict120 which you can see i use that username mainly

Call T-mobile and verify you have a blackberry data plan. If the phone is really unlocked it should work. also if they reported the phone lost or stolen to blackberry they may have locked the PIN and only your carrier would be able to resolve this if they even try.

If you reported the phone as lost then they had it locked. See if they will talk to RIM and resolve the issue. The attitude your receiving is because they did not sell you the phone and donxxx8217;t feel they are responsible. You may not be in a good position to resolve this. If the phone is an ATT original you might be able to call them but keep in mind you donxxx8217;t have their service either and they may not even talk to you. Last resort is to try calling RIM and explain the problem. Depending on your ability to convince RIM to work with you and your demeanor on the phone it may work.

Be aware that RIM will charge you a minimum of $49US in advance just to talk to you if you contact them directly and not through a carrier.

You might try logging into your BIS page at T-Mobile and re-entering your PIN and IMEI for your device. Treat it like you're switching BlackBerrys but just enter the info for your current device.

After that, try resending your service books.

I've tried that didnt do anything andd i cant find that page even tried to do it with a t mobile agent and they was no help :cry:
