8330 Updating issue
 

ok, I know there is some kind of way to do what i want, just haven't found it yet...

I have an 8330 Boost Berry and it will shut itself off and update itself...ALL THE TIME!!! Sometimes when the phone rings, it rings crazy and it is shutting itself off to do an update.

I back up my phone and check for updates every sunday night. So I am fine with having to do it myself cause I am getting pretty damn tired of losing calls and all.

Any ideas on how to shut this automatic update off?

As opposed to updating itself, it sounds like you BB is rebooting. This is usually a memory issue. What is your free memory? Consider using Shrink-A-OS to get rid of stuff you don't need or use. Be ruthless in deleting email and other messages. Clear your browser cache regularly. Hope this helps.
