Wirelessly posted (Bold 9000)

So guys n gals,

What do you think will be announced at WES this year??

My thinking is that the 9100 will be unvailed as will the BlackBerry native twitter app. Anyone else wanna have a guess??

I think prizes for the one who guesses the most are in order! :)

Wes 2010

I hope they will discuss 5.0 for Novell (finally and at last...I hope)
Maybe HA enhanced app use and development

I am hoping we see a brand new device that is unveiled

Maybe new device options that take us from the world of carrier specific?

Bigger and brighter screens, they have already come so far so fast, why not hope for more

I hope to see Impatica there and check out their newest and maybe RedFly
Hope and dreams?

Redfly device is great. Hopefully, the announcement will be better OS support for modifying resolution with the Redfly.

I figure they have to do something.

I think BES 5.0 service pack 2 will be out just around the time for WES too

Based on last year, I get the feeling WES is less about devices now and more Blackberry as a platform. I would think they have to have some news on the Webkit Browser and something on the use of widgets to eas development.

Considering Tour 2 and 9100 are due around the same time I'm sure they'll be mentioned but RIM has some major items to deliver this year:

My Wish List
- the Browser
- a new GUI / OS
- The two new rumored handset designs
- BES goodness (Sharepoint extension), New features in 5.1 (please device images!)

Ill bet we'll see the following.

9100 with release of native Twitter (BES administration of course)
BES Infrastructure - entire ecosystem enhancements; including Novel support in v5, and hopefully remote control.
HSPA for faster data rates.
OS highlights: Webkit and Flash integrated making or much faster os/apps/etc.
Screw widgets (in the traditional sense); they consume so much data I might as well just goto the website. With Flash coming to the OS then you'll see a powerful and useful widget.
Lastly I'd like to see html5 support in the webkit engine. Boxtone will no doubt have an improved solution.
