blackberry ipod touch modem question
I managed to tether my ipod touch to my 9700 blackberry ( or is it the other way round? ) by using a the app Bluever
Basically I use the blackberry as a modem and can use the ipod touch to surf/download etc When I am connected to the ipod touch the blackberry shows "modem" on the screen. My question is how would I be billed for this by MTN. I have a normal 750 package with MTN which includes unlimited internet access but I am presuming if you use the blackberry as a modem you enter a different kind of billing?Probably expensive and same as downloading? Any one know how this billing works |
Re: blackberry ipod touch modem question
You may wish to check your carrier's policy on tethering. They will either ban it or send you a nice bill, if it is not included in your plan.

Re: blackberry ipod touch modem question
checked today and you right. There is a normal Blackberry internet service which is about R60 ( about US$9 ) a month and this is for unlimited browsing
but if I use it as a modem it is R20 ( approx US$3 ) per MB of data |
