Is anyone else excited?

I am excited, but I thought this would be an official release based on your title. Its really the same speculation that is on the other thread.

Most of us read Crackberry as well, old news actually, and no I'm not excited.

Well...I dont work for RIM, so I cant tell if it is official or not, but at least it is pretty much confirmed...right? :)

Yep, I was just saying there is already a thread with this same leaked information. I, for one, am looking forward to it. I am with Sprint and am up for my renewal discount in January, so this should be just about right timing.

Maybe a mod could merge this thread with the existing one, so all the information is in one place?

Yeah this is really exciting!! Finally, RIM is first to release a cool new phone design. I'll bet other manufacturers will rush to develop their own sliders, although I'm not sure if marketing a phone named after mini-hamboogers is a great idea.

I'm not excited. I came back to BlackBerry from HTC Touch Pro2 because I hated the slider (well that and other reasons)

Yeah, it's confirmed, and I'm kind of excited for it.

I'll bet they'll call it "The BlackBerry Slick"! For all those coolers out there.

I will need to try one in my hands before passing judgment. If it isn't quick on the draw it may be a tough sell.

Uh oh... I slowly feel myself liking it more :-( I never thought the day would come, but it's getting more and more attractive to me.

Well it looks like the slider is going to be GSM from the Crackberry article and the clamshell is going to be CDMA. The early rumors were that that slider was going to be CDMA and going to Sprint. I guess that's not right.
