Berry Slider confirmed

From Fudzilla, likely to be called 9900 and 9930.

Fudzilla

Is anyone else excited?

balansboy 03-25-2010 08:01 AM

I am excited, but I thought this would be an official release based on your title. Its really the same speculation that is on the other thread.

SgtRick 03-25-2010 09:44 AM

Most of us read Crackberry as well, old news actually, and no I'm not excited.

SergBB 03-25-2010 12:59 PM

Well...I dont work for RIM, so I cant tell if it is official or not, but at least it is pretty much confirmed...right? :)

Yep, I was just saying there is already a thread with this same leaked information. I, for one, am looking forward to it. I am with Sprint and am up for my renewal discount in January, so this should be just about right timing.

Noodle22 03-25-2010 04:22 PM

Maybe a mod could merge this thread with the existing one, so all the information is in one place?

ArgonNJ 03-26-2010 12:55 AM

Excited? Not in the slightest.

Yeah this is really exciting!! Finally, RIM is first to release a cool new phone design. I'll bet other manufacturers will rush to develop their own sliders, although I'm not sure if marketing a phone named after mini-hamboogers is a great idea.

I sense some sarcasm there:)

dlautman 03-30-2010 03:56 PM

I'm not excited. I came back to BlackBerry from HTC Touch Pro2 because I hated the slider (well that and other reasons)

Tour Themes 04-08-2010 09:00 PM

Yeah, it's confirmed, and I'm kind of excited for it.

Jagga 04-10-2010 11:46 PM

I'll bet they'll call it "The BlackBerry Slick"! For all those coolers out there.

jaredco 04-20-2010 09:39 AM

I will need to try one in my hands before passing judgment. If it isn't quick on the draw it may be a tough sell.

Same also on Crackberry. More photos of the BlackBerry 9800 Slider and BlackBerry 9670 Clamshell Showing off BlackBerry 6 | CrackBerry.com

Noodle22 05-06-2010 08:06 AM

Uh oh... I slowly feel myself liking it more :-( I never thought the day would come, but it's getting more and more attractive to me.

jsconyers 05-06-2010 11:12 AM

Well it looks like the slider is going to be GSM from the Crackberry article and the clamshell is going to be CDMA. The early rumors were that that slider was going to be CDMA and going to Sprint. I guess that's not right.

moorken 05-06-2010 12:04 PM

i want piiiiiiiiictures!!!!
