What is the context?

Offhand I don't know, except a token in general could be a smart card used in a two factor authentication system -- i.e. something you know (a PIN) plus something you have (the token)

So, what are you trying to do?

Re: voucher - Token

Hi
I am not trying to do anything !

In a job remote location, where we usually get a Password to connect to the Wi Fi internet ( and where this Password is changed periodically), last time we were given this Voucher Token (letters and numbers like a password)! those who had iPhones managed to do find it quickly in their phones!
i had troubles finding it !
that is why i am asking, where to find it in both phones, Q 10 and Bold 9900!

Thanks

Re: voucher - Token

Some Hotspot locations have found a way to charge extra for the WIFI use. The local router requires a Voucher Token ( yes you buy time) to pass thru the modem. It usually uses the MAC address of the device wanting access. It is similar to the old and still used method of getting access to some Airport services and other for a fee WIFI systems but your given the access codes..
Bottom line is they wanted your MAC address. Safe, questionable. I'm not sure how much access they have to your phone data once you are connected.

1.While viewing the Home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen
2.Tap Settings followed by Network Connections
3.Tap Wi-Fi followed by Advanced
4.Tap the Diagnostic Information bar and select Device Information
5.The MAC address appears under Physical Address
