New to Blackberry & JUST got mine today!

I do have 30-days to return it. The thing is, I need to be able to attach pics to my emails. Can I do this with my phone (Suncom 7250) or is there another phone better for this?

I know this might not be the smartest question but please forgive me, I am new to the BB and have no clue about the other models and etc.

Thanks in advance
Farrah

I forgot to add. I can save jpegs on my phone. If I can send an attachment but don't know how to do so, can someone tell me how?

If you already have the pictures on your BlackBerry, go to Compose MMS and type the message and go the menu and select Add Attachment. If you do not have any pictures on your BlackBerry, you will need to email them to your email address on the BlackBerry.

I went to Compose but I do not see anything like MMS ( I see SMS) yes, I did email the pics and saved them.

Can you please walk me step by step?

this may or may not work for you since i have a different OS and provider than you. but for me...

Go to the picture gallery and select the picture you want.

click the trackwheel, that should bring up a list of options for that picture. go to "send as MMS" and click the trackwheel again

select the recepient(s)

send message

hope this helps

Thanks for your help but It didn't have that option either. Maybe, someone else could help or maybe my phone doesn't have this option?

I know that the carrier has the option of what services they will or will not support on any given device (example: T-Mo does not support MMS on the Sidekick 2, even though the device is capable). I can't imagine that a carrier wouldn't support it, but you may want to call suncom and make sure that they do.
