Can Not Delete One Day of e-mails on BB9900 Bold
 

Use a BB everyday but am not a techno guy.

I have eight e-mails all from the same day on my ATT BB Bold 9900 that will not delete (earthlink is the e-mail provider).

I tried delete prior and I could delete the day before and the day after.

I have hard booted and soft booted.

I DO NOT synch with my laptop.

HELP!

Log into whatever other mail client you use, and make sure you have no mail in your inbox, and that your deleted/purged folders are emptied as well. Then pull the battery out while powered on, wait about 30 seconds and then replace the battery.

Back up your device, and restore everything except your messages.

Another alternative is to selectively clear the messages database with desktop manager and then selectively restore messages from an earlier backup before the corruption occurred. Or if it doesn't matter, just selectively clear the messages database and forget about restoring.
