Question about the Address Book

At times I feel the need to use an already saved contact to add another contact otherwise which is a very tiresome job.

For example lets say I want to add contact details of Mr. John of ABC Company and that I already have contact saved of Mr. Paul from the same company... there might be no other difference except for name and email address.

How could this be done without having to put in all details?!?

Sounds like you're adding contacts from the device. I know of no way to copy a whole contact and then paste it into a new contact but you can use Desktop Manager to sync to Outlook and make changes/additions there or use Google Sync to make them in Gmail and it will sync wirelessly.

You could always use copy and paste on the device for each line of information to save some typing also.

There are no "templates" for contacts. You cannot have something ready to go, company name and address filled out, and just add the phone number and name.

Maybe try having new contacts send you their info via email in the form of an attachment? You can do this right from the BlackBerry Address Book.
