Q10 + MobileIron + server side rules

(This is pretty much copy/paste from a question by mvalpreda, http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ide-rules.html that didn't get answered)

Would like to hear from those who have a Blackberry Q10 on Exchange, MobileIron, or any other MDM system and have a lot of server side rules and using ActiveSync - NOT BES.

I have all my emails go into folders based on email domain name. I used to have a 9900 on BES and everything went into one folder based on my redirection rules. It was easy peasy and I never missed anything....unlike my iPad which requires me looking at which folders have unread emails. Even on Android I have to use something like TouchDown in order to have everything in one folder. I like the Android, but I'm really missing the keyboard.

Can the Q10 be configured the same way with ActiveSync as TouchDown? Will it show all the selected sync folders on the server in one folder on the Q10?

Thanks for any input!

they can all show in the hub for each folder you want to look at.

I have 3 folders I do this with now. my passport shows my Backups, router alerts and SAN reports. all show in order in hub but are in different folders in outlook

Thanks for the response Knotty Rope! For reference, here's the response I got from BB Tech Support

"Unread emails will appear in the Hub and will then move to the appropriate folder after being read. Make sure that subfolder redirection is enabled on the Exchange Server."

I have multiple devices and thankfully my company cannot get Mobile Iron to work on a blackberry. IOS, Ipad and Iphone it does and I have constant issues with email after it was installed.

all it is good for is the IT department snooping.
