BlackBerry's Official PlayBook Website Updated

Official website has been updated.

BlackBerry - PlayBook Tablet PC - BlackBerry PlayBook Specs Pricing and More at BlackBerry.com

knottyrope 10-21-2010 12:05 PM

where is the pricing?

juwaack68 10-21-2010 02:30 PM

Somewhere between expensive and holy sh!t.

juwaack68 10-21-2010 02:43 PM

Just went to the site and signed up for updates. How do you like this for the 'required' information to sign up:

"I would like to receive information on BlackBerry products and services" is a required field.

I didn't check the box the first time, then it came back and told me it was required?!?

NJBlackBerry 10-21-2010 02:45 PM

They have nothing to show

I'm returning from the Gartner IT Expo Symposium today. 7400 Sr. IT people including 1900 CIOs. RIM had two Playbooks - encased in a plastic block, that could not be touched or used. No demos. Nothing. And they knew they screwed up. Every month they fall farther and farther behind.

I signed up for updates, don't really mind getting e-mail updates from Blackberry. Big like for your earlier post  kinda of curious about the prices myself. Retired, so hopefully prices won't be ridiculous.

NJBlackBerry 10-25-2010 09:27 AM

New iPad is in the rumor, heavy breathing phase.

Replace HDD with SSD drive - 10second bootup = No waiting for applications to do tasks you're expecting in 1st quarter of launch, No waiting for API's, Conduits, and features for LAN, VPN for Intranets sites/Sharepoint access, etc for workload you can catch up on.

Take care of that rib. But I think you'll need either a guard or some kind of protection as we all love "babyback babyback ribs" ;). j/k.

Why even show up? Wonder how much that cost them to sit on their duffs.
