BES413 with SameTime

The BCOL.exe service uses up all the cpu 95%-9%
Must stop the IM service from BlackBerry Server Manager and start it.
SameTime continues to operate, email delivery continues to operate.
Just slow accessing the server.

RIM says rebuild server.

Has anyone else seen this?
I'm curious though... Why...

Domino 6.5.5, BES 413, 1 User for testing.

This happens with 4.1.2 also. I restart the "BlackBerry Collaboration Service" on the server.

Same here with 7.0.2SP1 and 4.1.3. We have a pretty good server so it only hits 25%, I just restart the service whenever I see it.

We found that when the memory got to big the collaration service wouldn't allow anymore connections, etc. Our BES has 4GB in it, not much more we can do, but when we opened up a ticket with RIM, they were able to reproduce our problem and gave us a fix, they said it made it into SP4, just didn't have time to update the document. We upgraded to SP4 this past weekend, so we'll see.

I upgrade to SP4 and is having an issue with the BB Sametime client (1.1.16 and 1.1.32) showing the wrong icon for users is in idle timeout. In previous version of BES idle timeout would be indicated by a yellow clock but in SP4 they have an Offline icon (grey square with x).

Has the upgrade to SP4 done the trick?

The problems we've seen seem to be fixed after SP4
