I cant send or receive MMS for a week now.
 

like the tittle says its been over a week now that I havnt been able to send or receive MMS on my 8520. SMS work fine but when I get a MMS it says

Sent: Feb 11 2011 8:20 PM
Could not retrieve message content.
Try again later.
From: BETH (Mobile)
Subject: no subject
------------------------------------
*** Not Retrieved Yet ***
Estimated download size = 128k
Expires : Feb 14, 2011 8:20 PM"


When I try to Retrieve now it says "receiving content..." and starts to show at the top that its transfering data or whatever but that only lasts a second or 2 and then stops and it just stays on "receiving content..." till i close it.
When i send a text it just of course leaves the red x and says "Failed to send message".

I have tried shutting down the phone and turning it back on and of course trying several times to resend or receive the data but it just isn't working.


Its a 8520, I have t-mobile, unlimited texts, no data plan. I didn't change anything with my plan and I don't believe I changed anything to my knowledge with my phones settings or software.

any help would be greatly appreciated, its very annoying not being able to send or receive MMS

also if it helps I'm on a family plan with my father and fiance and neither one of them are having any problems with MMS. They have a gravity 3 and a smiley both samsung phones not blackberry.

MMS requires having a data plan on BlackBerry.

no I've had MMS for a long time without a data plan, almost a year I've had this phone. It's just been the last week - week and half that I haven't been able to send or receive MMS

I pulled the battery and used my back up phone for like an hr and now the 8520 is sending MMS fine. I dunno what caused it to act up but its working now.
