Depends what you want to do:
Email- Blackberry all day. Apps- Even though blackberry offers apps, the bold only has 128mb of application memory:x, so the iphone wins there. If you can't type on touch screen then go with blackberry bold cause it has a great keyboard. Overall, I would go with the blackberry bold. |
3Gs it's newer, the onyx though once it is out would be the one to get over the 3GS only.

Tough choice in my opinion. I currently have a Bold but would probably swap it for a 3gS. E-mail and keyboard are great, but the simple fit and finish of the iPhone apps blow the BBerry away. |

Asking this question here is a no brainer although there are a lot of iphone users on this forum. It all depends on what you need in a device, BlackBerry has a lot of key features out of the box that the iphone doesn't BUT I'm sure there is an app for that. I personally would like an iphone to play around with but I run a business from my Bold and can't make the switch just yet. |
shouldn't this be in the Blackberry Versus forum?

compare iphone to storm, apple to apple (actually to blackberry)
both touch screen. |
There is no easy answer.
I have both and I am currently using the Bold. It is far superior as a texting device, email, sms, pin etc. The Bold also is a better camera. They are about equal as phones. The Bold has somewhat better battery life. The iphone however is a great device however and better for using the internet, playing games, listening to music, more and better third party apps are available. It has more of a cool factor if that matters to you. I am on an exchange server and the messages sent from the Bold appear intact in Outlook on my desktop. Messages sent via the Iphone are incomplete. The to, from, date and subject came to the desktop fine but the text body was always jumbled. I could never resolve the problem. The Iphone also used to occasionally send "phantom" messages to my Desktop machine! So if you are heavy user of texting of any form, get the Bold. Otherwise the iphone has a lot of appeal. |
I forgot to mention I carry a ipod touch 32g. This gives me the best of both worlds; but I have to carry two devices . . .but they are small!
