Blackberry Pearl Voice Dialing not working - any idea how to solve the problem?
 

It seems like a conflict between the Voice Dialing function on BlackBerry Pearl and my contact list.

Voice Dialing worked originally (but poorly, w/o recognizing most of names/numbers) with my 1400+ contact. However, after I added a 500+ old contact category (contacts from a Palm, not used often any more, but may be needed once a while) from Outlook, Voice Dialing totally stopped working. It will display "Initializing. Please wait..." then beep once & go back to homepage without showing any supposed function at all.

Already went through the contact list, modifed any blank name contact or ones with suspicious characters. Also tried thorough way - deleted all applications, installed lateset ones & re-sync everything, that hour+ effort didn't solve the problem either.

Well, if there is a way to keep that old category in Outlook, but exclude it from syncing with BB, it can solve the Voice Dialing problem. I'll be happy to keep those contacts only on Outlook.

It will also improve BlackBerry Pearl's poor Voice Dialing performance. With shorter list of contacts (only those most oftenly used ones) in BlackBerry Pearl, I bet that the Voice Dialing will work better.
