Error 507 7100i
 

OK...I have a 7100i from Nextel. I was using it and wanted to reload the os. I have the latest software for the device, but it bombed during the os load...now all I get is error 507. When I try to reload it, it hangs at "Waiting for Device initilization" Any ideas? I have tried doing this with and without the battery in the BB.

OK...I got it fixed...sorry if you read this for no reason.

what's the fix?
 

What was your resolution to this problem? I have a 7100i doing the exact same thing right now...handheld shows the no OS Icon, error 507, and the application loader hangs indefinately at "Waiting for Device Initialization"

Try using JL_Cmder in my signature to wipe the handheld completely again. Then use application loader to reload the OS again.
