The pin it is asking for is probably the security code that you have set up, not the BB's PIN.

What router are you using?

I have this problem aswell. What is the pin? I havent got a blackberry pin number!? help!

cian, it doesn't want your BlackBerry PIN, it wants the security code for your router.

What is the security code for the router though is this your wireless router or the router on your phone and is it the same as a pre shared key? thanks

Its your wireless router. There's no router on your phone. What brand is your router?

cian.james 09-17-2009 08:40 AM

Is that the make of the router or the provider?

Belkin or Netgear!

Yes make = brand.

Thanks but how do I get to enter the pin in the wireless router

Usually its one of two ways:

1) Connect to an address like 192.168.0.1 (should be stated in the manual). Newer routers let you make changes from your computer browser.

2) Install the software that came with your router. They should give you access to its functions.
