Issues moving 9930 from Sprint to Verizon
 

Hey guys, am finally fed up and asking for help.
Girlfriend purchased a Verizon Z10 and can't take it any more. The idea is to swap her back to an old 9930 from Sprint.
I've followed all the of the directions, and 9930 does seem to be unlocked.
When trying to place calls I get a recording with the Sprint Error code 16.
Phone is on the latest Sprint O.S. and if it's important, had to get a micro to regular sized SIM adapter to move from the Z10 to the Bold.

A Sprint 9930 will never work on Verizon, even if it's unlocked. Period. The SIM card slot in the 9930 is only for the GSM radio. You will need a Verizon 9930.

Normally I would have crucified you, but I was drunk yesterday when I posted, so I totally missed that it was in the wrong section. LOL
