Thank you I downloaded as well. If you had posted this on a weekday, I believe the licenses would have been gone in only a few minutes

i have noticed a bit of a lag on my phone and when i get an email, an even bigger one..

is this normal?

akosnitzky 11-08-2008 07:53 PM

I had the same question but did not want to come off as ungrateful.

I purchased the email alerts, well free with the promotion... I click on the link provided to download it, trying to use the OTA to send it thru either email or sms, put in the verification code... But when I click "send sms" or "send email" nothing happens. There is no page trying to load or anything. Am I missing something? I have re-booted, same thing. Please... Any help is greatly appreciated, was really looking forward to using this software. Thanks!

Thanks for the free version. I had peekawho but this is much better.

nm1k0 11-08-2008 08:52 PM

I really would like this A LOT more than peek a who, if the backlight came on when a new message came in. I think thats the one feature its missing.

There may be more than 100 ;-) and the main reason I did it on a Saturday.

How do I download this OTA?? Why doesn't it work??? Its driving me crazy

TroyDBrown 11-08-2008 09:39 PM

Follow the directions exactly as posted on the news site. You must have a BlackBerry data plan to use that method and must be done from the BlackBerry Browser.

I have followed them perfectly, see above post^
I do have a data plan. I click the link provided in the verification email to go to the DL page, put in my number/email and then the verification code that's there, but the "send sms"/"send email" links dont do anything..
Any suggestions?

TroyDBrown 11-08-2008 10:04 PM

Follow the OTA link in the post and choose try not buy. That will let you install and then just enter in the reg code.

Alright... Tried that,
When I click TRY it says "the item you have selected cannot be displayed, would you like to save the item?"
Now I know I'm not supposed to be savin it to media card right? Lol

I'm gonna write a book on my life story entitled "Day Late & A Dollar Short".
Oh well, maybe I'll catch the next one.
