cannot receive email

A user in our domain can send email but cannot receive email.
When compose an email from her handheld, you can use the address book to find other people's info.
I tried to resend the service book, IT policy, re-enable redirection and reactivate the phone. it didn't work. (it can get the registration message) .

any ideas?

Thanks.

Is the user a member of a protected account such as administrator or domain admin?

Alsomight help if you post BB device and OS version
BES version and mail server version too.

Is she the only one that is affected? try using the blackberry account and see if you can send/receive email as her.

Could be a permission issue on her account. Make sure SendAs/RecieveAs and Administer information store is checked.

Also, anything in the event viewer?

Under the users account, it should say "Last Result: (then something here)", normally it should say "Delivered to device" or "Received from device". Does it say that? or "Redirected" ? She might of setup filters on the BB itself.

Yes, she is the only one who has the problem. But she doesn't have blackberry account.n So I don't know what to do now.

I think there might be something wrong with the bb settings.

No, I mean the "blackberry" admin account.. The account you used to setup the BES.

That's the account you want to do the tests with. Are you using Exchange? or Domino, GroupWise, or something else?

I have this exact problem after switching to a new phone, anyone ever figure this out?

I can send but not receive. Can not activate on BES over the air, only through Desktop Manager. I can browse the internet with no problems, send/receive SMS. Called Verizon and they dont know what to do? Advised me to call RIM?

:-(

Have them remove and re-add the BES plan to your account.

Check make sure the DATA service is active, recreate account at the BES and SYN up. If you can't activate thru BES, then reset master switch and force the BB to register to the wirelss provider.

I'm using BES GW 4.1.6, it is very plainful when BB don't SYN up. Most of the BES are running EX or DO.... GW is the minority or stepchildren at RIM.

reset master switch?
