Odd (but good!) difference between the 9650 and 9630

I was pretty much sure that the only major differences between the 9630 and 9650 were the trackpad replacing the trackball and the increase in system memory.

The 9650 has the best call clarity of any phone I've ever owned. Better yet, the speakerphone is significantly better than the 9630.

With only minor changes to the series, what ese did they do to make this much of a difference?

512 MB RAM (as opposed to 256 MB) is a huge difference.

Comparison from Blackberry.com showed that dimensions were about exactly the same. They did move the battery charge plug in slightly, but 9630 cases do fit the 9650. And the sould outlet is slightly larger, partially covered up with my case.

Absolutely true -- I use the exact same Seidio holster for my 9650 as I used for my 9630. The USB port is slightly off center of the cutout, but it still readily accommodates a charger or USB cable.

Yup, hoping it would be released today since the Torch 9800 went available today, it comes with OS 6.
