Curve won't turn on, red light blinking
I am on Verizon. I went into Blackberry desktop manager and clicked on "check for updates". There were several updates, so I installed them. Now the Curve won't turn on and has a blinking red light in the top right corner. The red light pattern is a pause, then 2 blinks, then pause, repeat.
I've taken out the battery and put it back in several times, did nothing. |
Search for "how to recover a nuked berry" and you will find instructions.

welcome to the forums.
One post is enough, you posted this 5 times. Please be patient. Follow these steps to the letter: http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ilanguage.html If the device is not detected by your PC, then follow these steps: What to do next if Jl Cmder will not connect and wipe - BlackBerryFAQ This could take up to an hour, so be patient and DO NOT disconnect your device until you see your installation complete and your homescreen again. |
yah i know thanks, i tried that and its like the same thing is there another software i can download to make it owrk my phone wont turn on whatsoever it just keeps flashing
|
You really need to post more details. What exactly did you try?
|
yesterday i put my phone in desktop manager and was trying to update my applications, but then i saw deleting all apps. And i freaked out cause i didnt want that i took my phone from the USB cord and it wouldnt turn on. I tryed everything took out the battery switched batteries and etc. but now it just blinks red about every 3 secs. And i've been reading on here that this has happen to others.

Well if you disconnected your device while your PC was writing to it, you most likely corrupted some of the files/file structure.
If you connect your device to your PC, does DM detect it? |
nope nothing reads it at all =/ whats the best option you think i should do ?
|
I suggest following steps 1 and 2 in the first link that I posted. Then follow the steps in the second link I posted.
It may take several attempts before a connection is made, just be patient. |
