Sync 2 computers w/ bes & Desktop mgr
 

Is it possible to sync 2 computers to my bb? My work computer syncs through the bes. I want to be able to sync my home computer with contacts, calendar, etc. Work is office 2000 and home is office 2007. Can anyone help please?

I was doing this for a while without any problem, but I think I was using the same version of Office at both locations, I also did it with Lotus Notes at work and Office at home.

I had a lost of duplicates at first in the calendar and everywhere, but once the duplicates problem was solved, it was all ok. I just stopped doing it because I couldn't see the added value of having my work calendar replicated to my home computer when I already had it in the palm of my hands, but that's me ...

Yes, this absolutely can be done. There is a couple of very important things to keep in mind when synchronization occurs between two different desktops. The BES is fine, but with your personal desktop. Install the Desktop Manager (does not matter which version) setup as the BIS. Customize the Configuration for Synchronizing. When you decide to sync to your personal desktop, you must ensure that for Address Book, Calendar, Memopad and Tasks the through Options: "Wireless Synchronization" is set to "No" when you are finished, unplug your USB Cable to the device and turn each one to "Yes".
