BB Messenger Icon will not go away...
 

My 8830 keeps showing "1" next to an active BB Messenger conversation icon on the home screen. Problem is, is that there are no active conversations on the device. Have rebooted 3 times to no avail...anyone seen this before or know how to get rid of it? :???:

Uninstall and reinstall messenger?
Service book?

I was hoping to avoid that so I wouldn't have repopulate the contact list...but I had no choice. It worked.

EDIT: Didn't have to repopulate the list; contacts were already there!
