Unable to send emails
Hello,
I have a blackberry curve 8520 configured to send emails from a yahoo.com account and a corporate account that has its email services hosted with Google Apps Standard Edition . Since las thursday the email service has started having problems when I send emails. If i start typing and email address on the TO field, the phone doesn't start to auto-complete the address based on my contact list. And then, even if I write a complete email address, the send option is not activated, just save draft. If I save the draft and open the email again, the email address I had written dissapears, and the TO field is blank once again. I can only send emails by replying to a message or by going to a message I had previously sent or recieved to/from the contact I am look for. I can place the cursor over the email address, click on the trackwheel and then select email "contact". To date I have tried: Soft and hard resets Deleted the service books for both email addresses and then "Send Service Books" once again. Does anyone have any idea of how I can fix this problem? What did you do just before the problem began - install an app or changed some settings?
Have you called the carrier's technical support? By hard reset, do you mean a battery pull? Delete the email addresses and then added them again? |
