Desktop manager won't sync with Mac

Hi, I'm running blackberry os6 with BB desktop manager for Mac. All versions of everything are latest release. Issue is when I try to sync with iCal (have sync turned on between outlook 2011 and iCal) it will not pick up any items in my calendar that are associated with my main email address (gmail). For example, if I add an item under group calendar for bbm, it will pick up and add this to iCal. If I add same thing into calendar with my gmail it ignores it.

Group calendar is set as default (tried to chg, won't let me). Not sure I'd that's part of the issue.

I am also going tris route because I understand there's no other way to sync with outlook directly - correct?

Thanks for any help.

m.

Moved to the Mac Users section.

I thought Mac Office 2011 and DM 2.0 for the Mac was supposed to work, but I guess not.

I use Google calendar and contacts to wirelessly sync my BB, PCs, MacBook and Mac mini. But then I use Thunderbird/Lightning on my Mac for email and calendar.

Google sync works great so you might want to check into that option.

I don't think the ability I sync BB DM to Outlook was addressed by the update.

Thx for tip, I'll have to try G sync since this update did nothing particularly useful. I think the recent iCal update has something to do with it not picking up my calendar... anyone else have an iCal issue?

Re: Desktop manager won't sync with Mac

Ok just installed Google sync. Same issue. It will sync other calendar items created with bbm group calendar but not my main one. When I initially add entry into calendar it defaults to group calendar (I've already changed default in settings, does nothing).

Could it be an issue with bbm calendar being the default? If so, how do I get rid of the bbm group calendar ( I remember his being an issue for others)

Thanks.
