New Blackberry Purchase & NotifyLink Question.
 

Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum and I am about to purchase a blackberry device, after trying a Siemens SX66 and hating it.

My company currently uses Groupwise 6.5 and does not have an exchange server or BES. In addition I will be the first user of a remote email device. As a result, I was planning on using the hosted edition of NotifyLink ( http://www.notifycorp.com/nl_hosted/index.htm ) to provide connection and reconciliation with Groupwise.

Has anyone used the NotifyLink product? Any thoughts about it functionality on a RIM device?

My next decision is which device and data plan to purchase. I think I am going with the 7290 from Cingular. It is my understanding that I need a data plan that provides unlimited access to the internet and I do not need a traditional Blackberry plan. However, it seems that through Cingular you must purchase the Xpress Mail with Blackberry Unlimited for $44.99per month. Are there any ofher oprion for data connection with Cingular?

We use NotifyLink at our firm...until BES for GroupWise is finally released. My opinion is that it serves its purpose but there are a few minor glitches due to it being 3rd party product..and myself I prefer to simply forward my emails to the BB instead of using NotifyLink.
