Q10 phone pad blinks on and off
 

For a couple of months, (perhaps since the last system update) the phone pad on my Q10 blinks on and off when in use, but only about 60% of the time. It is especially frustrating when I'm trying to use voice mail but I can't type in the passcode. Is there a solution for this?

Was the device dropped or did it get wet?

No, it is in perfect condition. No problems with any other application. Just the phone pad blinks on and off.

Is it in a cover or case?
Something that could be pressing down on a key?

No, nothing like that. As I said, I believe it started after the last software update.
