Google voice issues - 9650
 

Recently, Google Voice on my 9650 has become less and less reliable. Not being able to get rid of the new message indicator is a common issue. Also, it seems to take a long time for messages to come in after a call (sometimes hours)....i have removed and reinstalled with no change....is there a better app or any suggestions?

Unfortunately, updating the app doesn't seem to be a high priority for Google Voice. I have issues with SMSes being sent multiple times.

The only other option that comes to mind is bookmarking their mobile site on your browser and using that. Far from perfect, but used to use that before they came out with the app.

Had to axe Google Voice and went to YouMail. Problem is battery life gets chewed up with YouMail....any other suggestions? Really, I am just looking for the ability to play vm's back without dialing into anything.

Doesn't Sprint have Visual Voice mail? Or am I misunderstanding the requirement?
