8520 Curve Apps problem (google, facebook)

Hi,

I have a BB 8520 Curve and I have downloaded the google mobile apps and facebook application.

Despite setting up the permissions as required by google, and having a generic data plan provided by my mobile phone network, when I try to load gmail I get a message saying:

"This programme requires a working data connection. Please check your signal strength and connection settings and then restart the application."

I get a similar message for Google Maps and facebook.

The only thing that I can think of is that having changed the settings to make the phone connect to wifi yesterday, I need to change some setting now that I am not in a wifi zone (have already changed the browser settings back to PxLive).

Many thanks.

Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy)

You need a BLACKBERRY data plan to get these to work... There's nothing you can do about it. No way around it. And no way to fix it
