Apparently on news because of the uk riots, the kids used bbm to do the riots so bbm has been suspended. :)

Its sad what's happening in the uk , I really hope they solve it. But shuting down BBM sounds too much.

The reason is because the data between BBM users is encrypted and the rioters are using BBM to communicate. That's why they want to temporarily shut down BBM until this is resolved.
