PlayBook Revival
Just in time for its EOL, I'm buying my very first PlayBook tomorrow. It's $25, and the owner claims its broken. He sent me a picture of the start screen where it gets stuck and won't load. I'm pretty sure I can revive it.
My question is, has anyone ever tried getting BlackBerry Desktop Manager to run on Ubuntu? I have an HP Mini 311 laying around with an older version of Ubuntu installed; I'd like to use it instead of my PC, which is currently put away somewhere. I guess this is really a General Discussion question, so feel free to move it. |
Re: PlayBook Revival
I have not heard of it working on Ubuntu
while it boots press power button down for 30 seconds and see if it reboots after |
Re: PlayBook Revival
You can sync files using Ubuntu, but not with the desktop software.

Re: PlayBook Revival
wifi file sharing works well, I use that more often than wired and I can upload a video for kids while they play a game on it
