Re: z10 and q10
Overkill?
Would you keep both, or switch to the other? What are you hoping to gain? |

Re: z10 and q10
I don't know. I know, or knew, of people who had a weekday BlackBerry and weekend BlackBerry and just moved the SIM back and forth. FYI with BlackBerry ID there is a limit of something like 15 or 15 per year on the number of times you can swap the ID to another handset. Look it up. I'm not sure it applies if you are swapping back and forth as opposed to another different handset each time.
Me, I have gotten use to the touch screen. I don't miss the keyboard as much as I was afraid I would. I don't know what the Q10 would give me that I would use. I think your decision is a personal one that depends on you. Different strokes. |

I have 9860, 2 playbooks, 2 Z10 and a Q10 on same BBID

Re: z10 and q10
I guess the OP should be able to do what he's thinking of doing.
Here are the KB articles I was thinking of. KB25553-"There are too many PIN changes associated with this account (Error ID: 30801)" is encountered when attempting to login to BlackBerry World And KB34242-“You have reached the maximum number of PIN changes for this account” is displayed when attempting to login to BlackBerry World on a BlackBerry 10 smartphone Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile |
Re: z10 and q10
If I'm not mistaken the limitation on using the same BBID across devices doesn't come into play until you try to use BBM. That may have changed since the last time I did it as well.
You can get BlackBerry to reset the change devices count but you need a fairly good reason. |
Re: z10 and q10
Having both and using them over an extended period of time will give you the best comparison of the two. I surmise that eventually one will win out over the other and become your main device for day to day use, but the other will be available as a change-of-pace device for when the mood strikes you. I do it myself, but cross platform. Nokia Lumia 928 and a BlackBerry Q10.

Re: z10 and q10
Naturally the iPhone's wireless sync with iCloud is superb. Now my BlackBerry is syncing natively with iCloud as well, which is something of a pleasant surprise for me. I expect Apple/Apple syncing to go without a hitch. But BlackBerrys have never enjoyed this level of integration with Apple services. (y)
