Connect Desktop Manager w/ my Pearl (Vista)
 

I cannot for the life of me get the Desktop Manager to "Add" my Pearl. It cannot find the device. I'm not sure if my bluetooth is working properly. I'd like to connect to the Desktop Manager via bluetooth, then ultimately use it as a modem. But i have to get it connected to the Desktop Manager first. Anyone with some experience under Vista?

I can't get this working either under Vista. I can get the computer to connect to my blackberry via bluetooth, but DM can't find the blackberry. Truly strange.

Same problem here. I've been given the task to configure a blackberry as a bluetooth modem by my CIO so we can hopefully stop having to purchase Broadband cards for users who already have a blackberry. The thing is, every piece of documentation that I have come across explaining how to do this requires that you setup the BB via Desktop Manager and I can't get it to work on my machine. I'm running Vista Enterprise, but I am installing DM on XP right now to see if it is a Vista thing.
