Change mobile provider

I have a 9900 currently. On O2 UK, keeping device and want to move to EE UK. Should I have to do anything with O2 before getting blackberry services with EE.

I got a PAYG SIM from EE, added the blackberry pack, but although I get 3G (yes capital G) and can web browse, no blackberry services. HRT is blank. I send request but never get registration.

On 7.1, about to upgrade to latest load.

BB is unlocked from O2 as SIM works and calls work it is just BB services

Only thing I'm aware of is make sure the carrier you are leaving disassociates your device's PIN from the BIS service you had with that carrier. It probably happens as a matter of ending your service with that carrier, but not sure what all can go wrong. Anyway, you want to avoid a situation where you cannot register for BIS with the new carrier because your PIN is still registered through the other carrier.

We are on the same boat. I also bought a Blackberry plan. Everything is fine (normal internet, text message, call), just BIS. I contacted with the preview carrier (giffgaff), they confirmed that my PIN is release from the Blackberry server. I am free to register BIS again with any carrier. But I still cannot receive any BIS with my EE. Have you found a solution?

What do you mean receive BIS? BIS is the service type for Blackberrys.
BIS = blackberry internet service
normal consumer service

BES = Blackberry Enterprise Server
Corporate type service

I bought the blackberry plan from EE but I don't have BIS, which means I cannot setup emails, BBM, Blackberry protect, etc. Nor can I see the blackberry logo on the desktop.

You purchased a phone but no BB plan, Call them and ask for a specific blackberry data plan.
you do not have the correct plan

The plan I bought is the Blackberry plan. All blackberry service should be included. It is designed for blackberry legacy devices.

Contact your carrier.
Your phone may not be provisioned properly.
