How to convert sms and contacts from Nokia to a Blackberry Pearl 9105
 

I brought this phone today and wants to sync all messages and contacts to Blackberry 9105. How can I Do, Please help? Please reply ASAP.

Hi Pawandeep,

- First you synchronize all the contacts from your Nokia with either Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express using the Noikia PC Suite.

- Then You can sync the same from the Outlook to your BB using the BB Desktop Manager. Its quite simple...

- Unfortunately you cannot transfer the messages onto the BB. There is no provision to do so. You can back them up using the Nokia PC Suite into a txt file but not onto the BB.

So you're saying that with PC Suite (I recall v6 was able to do this on PC) save you're entire SMS history into a spreadsheet/txt file - then import into spreadsheet with csv and then save and migrate to the BB as a document for future reference?

There are always alternatives and a way unless specifically restricted by the core.
