Active Network Connect
 

Hello, on registration for WES it said that under Active network Connect that if you agreed to it RIM would make a profile up for you that you could then see who else was going and chat to them beforehand.

Im a little lost and a beginner when it comes to WES so was wondering what the link was, or am I missing something here?? Confused!!

They have had that the past 3 years and Its pretty useless (at least for me). I don't think there are ever any planned events to meet and greet through that tool. It's nice to put in your info and sort by company size / interests etc but there's no method as WES to coordinate meeting through that site.

BTW the site will go live shortly before BBW starts and be accessible through the Blackberry World website.

We usually get all the BBF people synced up so keep in touch on here and we swap PIN for BBM. I'll be posting vendor parties as I get them so there will be plenty to see / do outside of the sessions.

If anyone needs help with any planning / feels overwhelmed let me know as I mostly attend now to network and hear what other mobility professionals are working on.

For those looking the social network on the Blackberry World site is not available. RIM has also released the conference planning App though I think it's very slow and doesn't render that great on a Bold 9650.
