How to not sync "certain" contacts with BES

I have a Blackberry Curve 8310 on a BES ver 4.0.7.8. Is there a way to not sync certain contacts from my blackberry to my Groupwise email contacts from work? I currently have like 60 personal contacts on there and today when I activated my phone on the BES, it synced both my groupwise email contacts from work with my personal email contacts.

Is there anything I could do on my Blackberry itself to have 2 address books? One that syncs with BES (Groupwise work contacts) and one that stays only on the blackberry itself(Personal contacts)?

The default address book is an all or nothing sync. Not sure if there is a third party application that allows for a seperate address book for personal contacts only.

set categories on your contacts in groupwise and create a filter in DM to only sync based on that category

that will limit the what syncs

on the handheld itself like Doug said you just get one - I do believe there are third party apps available if you do a little digging - but I think once you get them loaded you cannot sync them you would just have to manage them manually.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll just have to stick with this for now. =/
