Blast Rips Pune's German Bakery.

I have no words. You'd think after 26/11 we'd have some form of safety. It makes me sick.

Blast rips Pune's German Bakery; 9 dead, 45 wounded - Pune - City - The Times of India

I was very scared to read that news as my friends live in Pune... I believe they are OK though.

oh come on? no one thought this was worth discussing?

We had a pseudo nut crash a small plane into a building in Austin Texas yesterday that was used by the IRS. The guy burned down his house and posted a manifesto on his webpage prior to his suicide flight.

Realistically I am not that familiar with the politics of India. I do know that the Hindus, Muslims and Skeiks (sp?) don't always get along for a variety of reasons.

If I had my way all the suicide bombers would have a special place in the lower levels of hell along with the popes and TV preachers.

Is it still believed to be an operation by Lashkar-e-Taiba? What is the skinny as reported inside India? I ask because US media sucks with regard to international reporting.

I'm just left numb when reading stories about terrorism. They all seem the same. Innocent people being murdered by monsters. It makes me sick too.

CoDudette 02-22-2010 04:55 AM

alright
Basically, every time there is some form of terror attack, some new/old terrorist group starts claiming they were responsible.
The Lashkar e-toiba or the Indian Mujheeden have been responsible before. we are not sure if it is their work again. Some claim that it was the branch of the Al-Qaeda.

We are also very worried as we have the IPL (Indian Premier League) Cricket starting next month, and it's a wonderful time of the year because we have all these local teams with world class players playing, and there have been various threats from different terror groups saying they will bomb the cricket.

the worst part is, that every time a warning is received, no one pays heed. and that means we have to worry if they do threaten to blow up the IPL matches.. what then?

That's a shame. Governments really need to pay attention to threats.

Terrorism is serious.
