Blackberry Browser/WAP

Hello there,

I'm just set up the Enterprise Express server with our first Blackberry handset - everything is running tickedyboo and I'm feeling pleased with myself for sorting it all out.

On activation of the handset with my telco. (UK o2), i notice I now have THREE web browsers

1. Blackberry Browser
2. O2 UK Secure WAP
3. O2 UK WAP

You know what's coming next don't you :) What is the difference? I seem to remember the guy from o2 saying something like 'WAP is a lot more expensive and not many people use it' but I wondered if someone could be a little more clear.

Also, if i'm not going to use it - is there anyway of removing the icons from the home page?

Thanks ...

Spencer Steel

Wirelessly posted (Thumpers 8700c: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Tickedyboo?? The Blackberry Browser is placed there by your BES. The others can be removed by using the trackwheel to select the icon you want to hide. Then hold Alt while clicking your trackwheel. This will give you a menu where you can select "Hide Application". Then everything should be tickedy-hidden.
