Too sensitive navigation key/trackball for BB Bold
 

NEED URGENT HELP! Recently been having problems with my navigation key. It's been too sensitive and it's becoming frustrating. It sends SMS even before i finish typing it out or it randomly sends a blank email reply because it double-clicks the key or it assumes that i'm pressing it even if i'm really trying to press the back key, menu key or letters close to it.

Any idea how to solve it?
No major accident before this, e.g. dropped, soaked, etc. It's been working fine over the past couple of months but starting this year it just became too sensitive.

It sounds like the contact underneath the ball has become flattened. You can purchase a new one from the link below. You will have to disassemble the device, though.
