Missed Calls Display Stuck

Does anyone know how to clear the Missed Calls display (top center of screen just below time)? This display shows 1 missed call even though there are no missed calls shown in Messages, or in the Missed Calls Folder or the Phone Log Folder (or any other folder for the matter. Checked them all. Nothing in any). Battery pull does not fix. All messages have been deleted but this display persists. Any help is appreciated. 73

Bugged the heck out of me too !
-Go to the call log (click the green phone button, select "call log" at the top)
- This will show you all the recent calls. The ones with the "yellow phone" icon are missed calls.
- Find the yellow one and click on it. This will show you the call history with the phone number.
- Press the back button to return to the call log.

For some reason, you have to "open" the missed call up in the call log before the icon will go away. If this does not work I would call up Verizon and see what they say

well you must have the 'messages" folder hidden which would also contain them missed call.. if you show the messages folder then you could check in there for your missed calls/emails ect.

You may also have to clear the call log data base in backup and restore

Thanks, but ...

Unfortunately, none of the proposed solutions apply. There are no entries in the call log, I haven't done a backup since this occurred, the Messages folder is visible in the first row of the home page (it is all I use as I have a number of accounts and the Messages folder brings all incoming messages of all types together into a single location), As previously stated, I have checked all the folders (which are empty), and done a battery pull.

The only thing I have not done is call Verizon, which is next. For some reason, I prefer this forum to some L1 tech at Verizon.

An other thoughts are appreciated. Thanks to all. 73
