pearl, bluetooth modem, linux
 

Has anyone successfully used the Pearl as a bluetooth modem in Linux? I'm able to get it to connect, but it's horribly slow and times out a lot. It's pretty much unusable, but connected.

When I used to do this with my Treo 650, I didn't have the timeout problems I'm having with the Pearl.

Ubuntu user here. How did you get a connection? I've been trying awhile now without success.

i have a simple question well im hoping its simple i've tried to look myself and i cant find it. when you are sending files via bluetooth well i should say receiving it asks the other person for my passkey. how do I find out what my passkey is? I've tried 0000 it doesnt work.
