Copy Contacts from Outlook

:cry::cry:I'm trying to get all my outlook contacts onto my Curve, and all my Curve contacts into my outlook. The fact that I'll end up with duplicates does not matter to me. No matter what settings I choose, desktop manager wants to delete loads of contacts.
I'm guessing this is because it is trying to sync and I really want to copy each onto the other
Can I do this?

you can select if you want to sync, or do a one way copy, so you can copy first the contacts from your BB to outlook and then you can delete the contacts on the blackberry, then copy the contacts from outlook to BB or just a regular sync

Regards

Still, when I tell it to do a one-way from outlook to curve, it wants to delete 900 or so contacts from curve. I've got it set to add all, so it should not want to delete anything. I'm feeling stoopider than a grade 3 student at this point because it should be so easy and it has eaten up 10 or more hours of time to get nowhere.

hmmm. It seems to want to delete the same things as it is adding - perhaps to prevent duplicates. Not an ideal system at all, but will have to suffice.

In your Address Book options, you can set it to allow duplicate names. Maybe that would stop it from wanting to delete them. Address Book > Options > General Options.
