I Guess Microsoft Won't be Buying BlackBerry

Doubtful. Never thought MSFT would buy BlackBerry anyways. At least Nokia found a home. WPs were/are their Hail Mary.

I find it strange that MSFT would pay that much for Nokia. They (MSFT) have been in write off mode since the Surface came out.

I actually thought it was a bit low, but about 1/4 of the price was the patent portfolio.

7.1 Billion US? So less than 2 Billion for the patents? What's all the rest of the $$$ for then?

The hardware and services. They are actually getting quite a lot for their money.

Two divisions and paying over half their valuation for the company as a whole. Well, I can see investors are going to be happy as ****!!!
