Oh, jibi, I see what you did there... the title and then the wink... the only thing missing are the posts asking where it can be found.

jibi 12-18-2008 12:49 AM

LOL! I'm sure they're soon on their way :) But hey, atleast I have a naked girlfriend about a foot away from me in the bed with a little cute 'snore' :)

Does it fix the Blackberry hotlinks issue?

Mandizzle 12-18-2008 09:55 AM

I really need clickable links in BBM to come back.... getting very frustrated without it.

Touché.

Man....every time I hear about a new beta, the anticipation makes my workdays slow to a crawl (at best). :-(

Thanks a lot. :-P

mark.baker 12-18-2008 10:58 AM

Errrm. The smileys in my previous post got eaten. Anywho, I was just being facetious!

jibi 12-18-2008 11:34 AM

What is the links issue everyone is talking about? Mine work fine? Give me some examples.

Mandizzle 12-18-2008 11:42 AM

If you were to send me a link in BBMessenger I can't just click it and select "get link" like I used to be able to do or like I can in emails/sms.

Now I have to copy the link and paste it to my browser in order to retrieve it.

Could I have perhaps changed something in options somewhere that disables hotlinks?

Please help because it's getting super irritating and I don't understand why it works for some and not others. I just tried with another friend using same o/s, device, and network and his works just fine.

jibi 12-18-2008 12:45 PM

The only time I've ever seen hotlinks disabled is when the browser is open and actively performing an action or displaying an error message. Let me test once it finishes upgrading.

Mandizzle 12-18-2008 12:51 PM

I've tested it with browser closed and still no hotlinks......

jibi 12-18-2008 01:30 PM

It works fine here. Just had Vasco send me a phone number and URL (using FQDN - Yahoo!). No issues.

jibi 12-18-2008 01:35 PM

Personally speaking, I thought .210 was one of the more stable versions. I'm not really seeing any issues resolved in this version, although I didn't really have any in the previous one (and its too early to tell on improved/hindered battery life).

coldconfession13 12-18-2008 01:41 PM

so jibi did this fix ur camera bug?

NJBlackBerry 12-18-2008 01:48 PM

Embedded web links in BBM are working for me.

Mark PPG 12-18-2008 01:49 PM

They aren't disabled as such, they just don't come through as a link.

NJBlackBerry 12-18-2008 01:51 PM

Oh. I scrolled down to it, clicked the wheel and selected "Get Link". Worked for me...

For the sake of believing... although it seems that someone has still yet to fix the attachment issues for PNG files. Squint your eyes and you can see it works.
