Help needed with phonebook

hi everyone,

i have kind of a difficult question, if someone can help me with an answer of any kind...my boss gave me w hand written list of names and phone numbers and he wants me to make a list of them on my computer in a type of document which will allow him to load that document in his blackberry phone and those numbers to enter in his agenda:? i'm not sure if this makes any sense, probably there's no way to do this, but i'm just asking...:) as far as i know, it is possible to make a backup list of your phone numbers from your agenda into your computer, as an excel type of file and it comes out as a list with all the details you have in the phone for all the numbers you have. but what i want to know is if it's possible the other way around as well...?
problem is i can't use outlook, because i already keep his agenda there with all his phone numbers and this one which he gave me now is a separate one for another phone and he would like to keep them separate...
please help...anyone who thinks they know a way around this...thanks in advance ;)

Re: Help needed with phonebook

Besides the fact you need a new boss some of this may help. The calendar and address book on a blackberry are usually synchronized with a few specific applications. One is Outlook. If I understood what your asking the easiest thing is to use an app on the bb such as MemoPad and use desktop manager to manage them in and out for a list of numbers. Outlook sync will remain separate. You will need to have DM on your pc or his. Also take a look at AppWorld and see if any of the apps there will offer a better solution.

you might try using an IPD file reader to unlock the backup and create an XL file

:) thanks for the help, as far as the new boss goes, i already know i have to change him :P
i have the desktop manager installed, but until now i only used it for sync issues. i will try to look into it more thoroughly
