BlackBerry crumble: Why RIM is in trouble
 

Interesting article, though I don't believe that financials are the whole story.

Hmmm. I think RIMM may be slowing down. Others will delve in to the enterprise e-mail, and eventually some other platform will stick. The real issue is the loss of BIS customers to the IPhone and Droid platforms. Blackberry was a fashion statement at one time and is falling out of favor. Bad browser to sum it up. My BIS isn't working right now. Maybe RIM will do something earth shattering to change this, but for now, they are moving backwards.

I'm leaving RIM. After multiple failures of my 9000 and its death as of yesterday, it's become an unreliable tool in my business. Their lack of support has caused me to, once again, enlist the assistance of the FCC. The 9000 is defective, despite RIM's unwillingness to admit it. From what I'm hearing, Nokia is a more reliable option when it comes to business tools.

It's too bad. The 9000 could be a great tool, if it wasn't defective.

OK, I'll bite. What's defective about it?

And support comes from your carrier, like every other phone out there.
