curve 9330 (not able to write using qpst)
 

hi friends

i hv recently got a bb 9330 curve

and i wanted to configure gps settings in it

i hv installed qpst 348 and read the phone under gpsone tag ticked all the options

now the real problem. qpst is unable to write the phone (error i get is nvread only)

i hv tried all the versions of qpst

ver 215 (read the phone as umts device)

ver 323 (it read the phone in SURF 7600-7600 by default) was not able to write above error

ver 348 same as 323

ver 355 same as 323

guys plz help

which is the correct version of qpst to read bb 9330 curve)

I always love when long-time members tell other users to "Use the Search feature" and "Use Google", however they seem incapable of doing this themselves.

Based on the wiki article, it kinda sounds like the another tool we never talk about here.

I did Google it and found several different instances of qpst. Hence the reason for asking what it was.

The one you found in the Wiki was the first on the list but not the only one, especially if you go a few pages deeper.

i m extremely sorry if talking abt qpst is against the rule of this forum.

however qpst is a tool developed bu qualcom programmers to tweak the phone.

i hv googled qpst mant times and found mention of it in every forum.

only that i hv bought a 9330 and wanted to do gps tweaks but was unable to do so.

i asked for the help.

The 9330 doesn't have a qualcomm processor, it has a marvell processor.
